Â鶹¹ÙÍø recently underwent an extensive master-facility upgrade and now features eleven operating suites, including two hybrid operating rooms¡ª a specialized surgical theatre equipped with advanced medical imaging devices.
Â鶹¹ÙÍø¡¯s surgical services program also includes pre-operative and post-operative units to care for patients before and after procedures.
We are proud to be a Level III Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons on Trauma as well as a Level II Trauma Center by the State of Idaho Time Sensitive Emergency. To maintain these designations Kootenai had to provide it has the hospital resoruces needed for trauma care at all times.
Center of Excellence for Hip and Knee Replacement by DNV GL Healthcare
This certification recognizes excellence in orthopedic surgery within the scope of hip and knee replacement surgery.
